COLUSA COUNTY

Colusa County uses the funding from JJCPA to fund one full tine officer, one 1/4 time officer and 1/3 of a support staff. This is over 50% of the Colusa County juvenile program. The officers involved supervise all 60 current 602 wards, additionally, these officers assist the four scholl districts in Colusa County with on site school needs, almost daily. This is a modified school resource officer program. The officers closely watch wards returning from placement, and assist them to reassimilate into their home and school. Without this funding Colusa County will not have the ability to do any field supervision of Wards.
