Outcome Improvement Funds

Effective with the 2011-2012 State Budget, these funds are included in the "Realignment" budget (in the State Block Grant to each County).  Probation Departments need to work with their local welfare agency to access these funds.

The State provides Probation Departments with a small annual allocation for improving outcomes for children in foster care or at risk of being removed from their home for placement in foster care. Their purpose is to enhance the safety and well-being of these children. Below is the information and instructions provided by CDSS.
