Below are training classes offered by organizations other than CPOC.


The Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice at UC Davis Extension announces the upcoming
Probation Placement Officer Course Series.
• Redding: September 14-16, October 12-14, and November 16-18, 2010
• Anaheim: December 7-9, 2010; January 4-6, February 1-3, 2011
• Sacramento: January 11-13, February 15-17, and March 22-24, 2011

Training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, and the entire course is certified for 63 hours of STC credit, based on hours attended. Training, materials, and professional credit are provided free of charge, and morning coffee and lunch are provided each day. Transportation and lodging (if needed) are the responsibility of the participant.

The training will be held at the Marina Public Library, 190 Seaside Circle, Marina, CA 93933 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 28, 2010.  The training is certified for 7 hours of STC credit. Training, materials, and professional credit are provided free of charge. Meals and transportation (and lodging, if required) are the responsibility of the participant.

Training will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, and the course is certified for 18 hours of STC credit. Training, materials, and STC credit are free of charge, and morning coffee and lunch are also provided each day. Transportation and lodging, if needed, are the responsibility of the participant
