Terms: Presidents – One Year Terms (consecutive terms may be approved by current Chief)
Meeting Attendance:
All Affiliate Presidents
will attend the March CPOC meeting in Sacramento
Only CAPIA will attend May
Only PITMA will attend July
Only PBMA will attend September
Only CAPSA will attend December
An Affiliate will attend meetings other than the one assigned if reporting on assignment given by CPOC.
Each Affiliate that is NOT scheduled to attend a CPOC statewide meeting will submit a written report/update to the Executive Director 45 days prior to the meeting.
The Executive Director will present the reports to the Executive Committee and notify an Affiliate not scheduled for the upcoming meeting if they are requested to make a presentation or to receive an assignment in person at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
The CPOC affiliate liaison will present the report for the affiliates not scheduled to attend the meeting to the entire body during the business meeting (unless the affiliate is requested to attend through the process outlined above).
An Affiliate should also work through their CPOC liaison throughout the year to determine the emerging issues and needs of CPOC and to communicate ongoing activities by the Affiliate.
A liaison may make a request
to the Executive Committee to have a liaison attend a CPOC statewide meeting
other than their regularly assigned meeting.
