This notification is a reminder that the Juvenile Reentry Grant provisions contained in Welfare & Institutions Code (WIC) Section 1982(b)(1) is due Monday, August 1, 2022. Each county that wishes to request reimbursement under this provision must report annually to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) on any discharged youth(s) returned to a local juvenile detention facility for violating a condition of court-ordered supervision that occurred during the first 24 months after the ward’s initial release to local supervision.  If you do not have any to report please indicate “None to Report” on the form and return it back to the BSCC.
