Informational Workshop: Partnering with the Department of Rehabilitation to Support Employment Goals for Justice-Involved Individuals

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) provides career and employment services to eligible individuals with disabilities to support their long-term success and independence. During this informational workshop DOR will provide information on how to access services including describing eligibility requirements, the vocational rehabilitation process, and on the many services and supports available to individuals with disabilities. The DOR has implemented targeted programs for justice-involved, and formerly justice-involved, individuals and continues to outreach to local and statelevel organizations to expand services to this population. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a discussion about how to coordinate and work with your local regional DOR offices to help remove barriers to employment for probation clients who meet the eligibility criteria.

Speakers
