Applying the Rules of Court to Sentencing Issues
This self-paced course will teach probation officers the proper application of the California Rules of Court (ROC) in preparing sentencing reports for the court. The ROC have recently undergone substantial revision to incorporate legislative changes to criminal sentencing statutes. The class would address the basic rules for applying sentencing factors in the context of the new statutory law.
