Continuum of Care Reform (CCR): Advanced Practice

California’s Continuum of Care Reform (CCR) is creating significant change in the delivery of services to youth and their families involved in the juvenile probation system.  This two-day course will move beyond the basics of CCR and will provide an advanced, interactive training session that includes effective strategies to meet the requirements of CCR.  Among the topics to be covered: the relevance of CCR to juvenile probation, improving outcomes for youth in Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTP), child and family teaming (CFT), the Resource Family Approval (RFA) process, family engagement and accountability, preventing out-of-home placement, effective assessment, case planning, case management and behavior change strategies.
