Navigating the STRTP Process to Ensure Successful Placements of Foster Youth Webinar
When considering residential placement for a foster care youth, it is important to find a good fit to assist in the youth’s success. This 2.5 hour webinar will provide a high-level overview to participants about the Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) referral and admissions process, steps on what to do prior to sending a referral packet, what should happen when a provider receives a referral packet, and the steps that can be taken to preserve existing placements. Additionally, this webinar will cover how to ensure that specialty mental health services (SMHS) are provided to youth placed in a provisionally licensed STRTP.
