Supervisor Placement Core – San Mateo
COURSE POSTPONED

Training

IMPORTANT: Due to many counties limiting travel to necessary activities, CPOC is suspending all trainings through the end of March. We will be reassessing how best to get the most critical trainings back on the calendar including but not limited to rescheduling or online opportunities where appropriate.

The Placement Supervising Probation Officer Course is designed for newly assigned Placement Unit Supervisors (within 24 months) and others in a leadership role within probation.  This course will encompass all aspects of the Continuum Care of Reform through the lens of the probation placement process.  Some of the important aspects would include but not be limited to case planning, concurrent planning, family finding, permanency, Title IV-E mandates and information required through state and federal mandates such as the Child and Family Services Review. This course is designed to give supervisors the expertise needed to ensure that their placement unit is in compliance with Division 31 requirements.
