This training is an overview and skills practice of the Child Welfare Services/Case Management System (CWS/CMS) functionality that relates to the data fields needed to document probation placement outcome data for state and federal government. This course focuses on the state and federal field documentation requirements specific to Probation officers working with youth in placement. Topics covered during this course include:  Introduction to CWS/CMS and its functionality, searching CPS history, TILP/90 day, ICPC100A & B, CSEC, Dual Status, SOGIE, Parenting minor/NMD, Family Finding, Education, Credit Reporting and Identity Theft, Mental Health Screening, and recording contacts including CFT meetings and Annual Reassessments of Youth in Group Home Care and closing case, creating new cases, entering a foster care, non-foster care, SILP, THP+FC, and RFH placements.

This course takes one and a half days to complete.
