Foster Care Training: Juvenile Probation Placement Core – San Bernardino
In-Person Training
This eight-day course consists of five modules that will inform participants of the foster care placement process, including state and federal regulations and mandates, court processes and legal aspects, best practices for case management and supporting youth in and exiting foster care as well as non-minor dependents participating in extended foster care. This course is comprised of module one being a self-paced learning component, to be completed prior to participating in classroom instruction that will consist of four modules. This class will consist of lecture and engaging practical activities that will assist participants in the applicability of the training material.
It is highly recommended that attendees are in a Placement
assignment for a minimum of six months before attending this
course.
