3 Arrested after Kern County Probation Home Call Finds Suspected Stolen Wire, Drugs

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – July 6, 2026 –  Officers with the Kern County Probation Department arrested three people Wednesday after a home call found suspected fentanyl, cash and material that appeared to have been stolen, the agency reported Monday.

A Probation Department news release said Eloy Browning, Kyle Gregorie and Courtney Harris were taken into custody during a visit to 6141 Knudsen Drive, the site of the Studio 6 Bakersfield extended-stay motel. It noted Browning is on post community release supervision and Gregorie is on felony probation.

The visit turned up what the agency said was stolen copper wire, several baggies containing two pounds of suspected fentanyl, a “large amount” of cash and evidence of narcotic sales.
