California State Legislative Members Recognize Probation Services Week 2026California State Legislative Members Recognize Probation Services Week 2026

As Probation Services Week 2026 begins, California’s probation professionals were recently recognized on both the Senate and Assembly floors for their vital contributions to public safety and community well-being. We extend our sincere thanks to legislators Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen and Senator Anna Caballero who took the time to acknowledge the dedicated work of probation professionals across the state and highlight the essential role they play in California’s justice system.

California Probation is uniquely positioned to balance accountability with rehabilitation—holding individuals responsible while providing the evidence-based supervision, treatment, education, and support needed to reduce recidivism and build safer communities. Every day, California Probation professionals work alongside courts, law enforcement, behavioral health providers, schools, community organizations, and countless partners to help individuals successfully reenter society while protecting the public.

We invite you to watch these special floor recognitions celebrating the outstanding work and lasting impact of California’s probation professionals, and join us in celebrating Probation Services Week this July 19-25, 2026.
