Solano Probation Honors 51 Center for Positive Change Program Graduates

SOLANO COUNTY, Calif., — September 11, 2026 — The Solano County Probation Department recognized 51 individuals who successfully completed its Center for Positive Change during a Tuesday ceremony.
The ceremony … celebrates participants’ achievements and recognize the commitment and perseverance demonstrated throughout the program. Through the program, participants receive tools, resources and support designed to encourage personal growth, strengthen relationships with family and loved ones, reduce barriers to success and support a successful transition back into the community.
“Our community celebrates these graduates for the resilience and commitment they’ve shown,” said Solano County Chief Probation Officer Dean Farrah in a news release. “Their journey through the Center for Positive Change reflects hard work, hope and the determination to build a stronger future for themselves, their families and our community.”
This year’s keynote speaker was the Honorable William Pendergast III, Presiding Judge of the Solano County Superior Court. Two CPC participants from this year’s graduating class also shared their experiences and reflections during the ceremony.
The Center for Positive Change opened in April 2013 following the implementation of Assembly Bill 109 (AB 109), California’s Public Safety Realignment and was designed as a one-stop resource center providing coordinated, wraparound services.

This achievement also reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of Solano County case managers, supervision officers, Social Services team, and contracted service providers. Through their continued support and coordinated efforts, clients received the tools, resources, guidance, and support needed to overcome barriers and work toward successful outcomes.
