The CalAIM Justice-Involved Initiative for adults has moved from launch to implementation across California counties. This session will focus on how counties are building capacity, strengthening sustainability, and refining local approaches with state and local partners, including CDCR, DHCS, behavioral health, sheriffs, probation, and community-based organizations. Participants will reflect on early implementation experiences, discuss common challenges, share lessons learned, and identify priorities for 2027.

CPOC and CPOC Foundation are excited to announce the opening of registration for our upcoming 2026 Statewide Conference ACCOUNTABILITY WITH PURPOSE | SAFETY WITH VISION! The conference will be held in Monterey, CA from December 2-4, 2026

Join us for this statewide training conference focused on the challenging yet rewarding work probation does every day – protecting communities while creating real pathways for people to change.

Today’s probation goes beyond checklists and compliance. It is smart accountability, meaningful rehabilitation, and lasting public safety. Much of this impact happens behind the headlines: in crimes prevented, lives redirected, victims spared, and safer communities. This conference is an opportunity to elevate the profession beyond the day-to-day tasks and recognizing the broader impact probation has on individuals, communities, and public safety. Attendees will also have opportunities to network and learn about strategies that support the wellness, resilience, and professional growth of probation professionals themselves.
