Since 2009, California Safe Driver has served probation, courts and law enforcement with interactive, behavior based traffic safety diversion classes, taught live by experienced law enforcement instructors. Our founder, a former teacher, police officer, SRO and Senior Explorer Advisor, saw that a citation alone rarely changes behavior, but education can.

• E-Bike Dynamics™: Our 2.5-hour online class for youth cited for e-bike violations. Probation can use it for citation diversion or informal supervision, without formal court action.
• The 80/20 Method: 80% decisions and behavior, 20% rules. Knowing the rules doesn’t determine how a young rider goes through an intersection; practicing the decision does.
• Family engagement: after class, each youth and parent completes a Riding Agreement.
• Alive at 25®: The National Safety Council’s 4.5-hour course for drivers 16–24, addressing distraction, impairment and peer pressure.
• ADoD (Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving): The NSC’s evidence-based 8-hour course, using CBT strategies, for drivers whose attitudes led to citations or court involvement.
• For probation: no cost, no added caseload, completion reported to your department. Participants pay; e-bike discounts available.
