This three-day placement booster session is a refresher course designed for placement probation officers and supervisors who have attended placement core prior to 2023. This class will provide participants with updates and important process reminders applicable throughout the foster care placement process that include process and practice changes, state and/or federal policy guidance and may include additional resources or best practices identified by California Department of Social Services (CDSS). The course will be a combination of lecture and engaging practical activities that will assist participants in the applicability of the training material.

It is highly recommended that attendees are in Placement assignment for a minimum of one year before attending this course.
