This course will orient attendees to the essential landscape of the state’s Mental Health delivery system, including the Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS), California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM), Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) and other services to help support Probation-involved youth in foster care. Topics will include but not limited to understanding the impacts of trauma, key terms of mental health, and the role of the probation in treatment and case management.
