Course Description:  This workshop will focus on effective strategies for recruitment and retention of African American and Hispanic Foster and adoptive families.  This workshop is for recruiters, supervisors, communications and marketing staff and anyone who has responsibility within your agency to assist with recruitment. If your probation department is working in conjunction with your child welfare department to recruit families for probation foster youth, you may have your child welfare partner attend with you. Registration for child welfare partners should be done through the probation department. This training is targeted for the recruitment of families for probation foster youth.
