Amy Asher is the Assistant Chief Probation Officer for Butte County, bringing over 15 years of dedicated service to the department. Born in Texas and raised in Chico, California, Amy earned her degree in Social Work from CSU, Chico. A passionate advocate for youth and evidence-based practices, she was instrumental in introducing the Strengthening Families Program to the department and served as a facilitator for five years. Promoted from Program Manager in 2021, Amy now oversees program facilitation and broader departmental operations, continuing her commitment to supporting families and positive outcomes for young people.
