The Honorable Lisa R. Rodriguez is the Chair of the Criminal Law Advisory Committee (CLAC) and Pretrial Policy and Data Subcommittee, and a Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego. On August 20, 2027, Judge Rodriguez was confirmed as an associate justice of the Fourth Appellate District, Division One (San Diego), and if elected, is scheduled to be sworn in on January 4, 2027. She has served as a San Diego Superior Court judge since 2015 and has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law since 2014. Before serving on the bench, she served as a deputy district attorney at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office from 1998 to 2015 and as a deputy city attorney at the San Diego City Attorney’s Office from 1996 to 1998. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
