James Goodwine oversees the Shasta County Community Corrections Division. A 14-year veteran of the department, James spent his entire caseload-carrying career in Adult High-Risk Field Supervision assignments prior to supervising numerous Juvenile and Adult Units. In his current role, James works closely with other divisions and community partners to enhance access to rehabilitative services for the adult offender population. Outside his administrative duties, James helms the department Program Evaluation Team, offender/youth Peer Support Team, and the Community Engagement Program (Prop 47 Cohort IV Grant). James is equally passionate about staff development and data collection and evaluation.
