Sarah Fletcher

Sarah Fletcher is part of the Santa Cruz County Probation Department Executive Team, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in criminal justice and public safety. She has held a range of roles in probation from line staff to more than 10 years as a Division Director, currently overseeing adult services. Sarah has led efforts to implement new case management systems, risk and needs assessment tools, and innovative programming focused on behavior change and accountability. She has been instrumental in securing and managing nearly $12 million in grant funding to support data-driven, collaborative initiatives with other system partners and community providers—from early representation to post-sentencing and re-entry supports. She also played a key role in developing and launching one of California’s pilot alternatives to the traditional Batterer Intervention Program (BIP) per AB 372. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Santa Cruz; a certification as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst from California State University, Sacramento; and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Psychology.
